Harvey B Campbell, Jr
Our founding partner, Harvey “Buddy” Campbell, has practiced law in Talladega for over 40 years. Since 1990, he has been in the same location on the corner of the Historic Talladega Square. During this time, he has represented thousands of clients from all over north central Alabama. Our entire support staff has been employed by Mr. Campbell for over 20 years, and he has given many young lawyers throughout the state an opportunity to begin their legal career right here in Talladega.
J. Gabriel Carpenter
Meet ACLG attorney Gabe Carpenter. Practicing several areas of consumer law, Gabe is currently developing a unique practice in arbitration and has been very successful arbitrating many consumer law cases.
A native of Georgiana, AL, Gabe graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2009 and received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in 2010. Since then, he has practiced mortgage litigation, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, probate law and estate planning, as well as his practice in arbitration
Mary Ruth Smitherman
Along with my father, sister, and brother-in-law, we formed Alabama Consumer Law Group LLC to convey to the public that we do so much more than bankruptcy. We focus on consumer law generally and can assist with fair debt collection matters, warranty issues, mortgage disputes, fair credit reporting issues and much more.
